Friends, our struggle was not in vain. And after months of hard work with the moderation team of Steam, the world’s largest game distribution site, we are there!

It wasn’t easy, they checked us literally through the screws, trying to find bannable content. But they saw that we are just a combat game that tells our, Russian, truth about the war in Ukraine, not calling for anything illegal. And on the contrary, showing that war is hard and scary. But when it is necessary, it is necessary. And we will win, because our cause is right!

Our release on Steam had the effect of a bomb exploding: a huge number of foreign media and forums are literally buzzing with calls either to ban and punish urgently or to study it sensibly. Of course, players who support not our side of the conflict are already writing angry comments on the game’s Steam site and bombarding with negative reviews. This is normal, it was expected. Even in principle it’s good for all of us: more noise will help more people to decide to play the game, which means: to find out how this conflict is seen from here and what our guys are fighting for!

And for the game team – it will help to raise money for its development!

The only spoonful of tar: Steam refused to distribute the game in Russia. Yes, not Ukraine or Europe, but only Russia. It sounds ridiculous, but you can understand them. Our authorities often appealed to them with demands to remove fake content about the war, that it was easier for a foreign company to show nothing at all on Russia about SWO. We will try to change their minds.
